Hello my creative friends, Its another amazing release by Altenew called "Wondrous World" . This post is part of the release celebration blog hop and if you are hoping along then you must be coming from the amazing Nathalie DeSousa blog. I have three cards showcasing the products from this release.
For my first card I have used the Radial Butterflies Cover die from this release. I made a glitter rainbow of butterflies. I used Altenew's Double Sided Adhesive Sheets for this project. The Adhesive sheets made it easier for me to add the glitter exactly where I wanted.
The sentiment is from the Block Sentiment stamp set.
For my second card I used the Narrow Brick Stencil, inspired by the fault line cakes. I used crackled embossing paste with the stencil on kraft card stock. When the embossing paste dried it gave this beautiful crackled effect.
The flowers are from the Magnolia's For Her stamp set, which I colored using Altenew Markers in a no line style coloring. I also added some depth to the flowers using color pencils.
For my final card I used the Floral Lace Die to create an elegant love theme card. I die cut the Lace Die multiple times using with and gold mirror card stock. I selectively cut pieces from the die using a scissor. The white pieces I used over a pink card stock to create a background and the Gold Mirror card stock pieces I used as an accent for the card.
I almost never make cards in this style as I love bold, intense colors and lots of drama in my projects, but when I was done with this I loved how it turned out. This Die is so Intricate and beautiful I am sure I will be using it on many more cards in the future.
