Hello friends, I am so excited you are joining me on this release blog hop for the new Altenew Craft Your Life Project Kit Garden Rose. Welcome to my blog from Amy Hill's Blog. Altenew always surprises and amazes me with every release and this one is no exception either. This release has a very beautiful stamp set along with dies and stencils which will have your creative juices flowing. Altenew also has an awesome give away to celebrate this Garden Rose Blog hop, details are in the end of this post.
For my first card I used the stamp set and the stencils that comes in this release. I stamped and embossed the roses and the leaves on a white bleed proof card stock using Gold embossing powder and colored them using Altenew Artist Markers. After the images were all colored die cut them using the coordinating dies.
For the background, On a white card stock panel I stenciled hello with a gray ink on the top half of the panel and on the bottom half I did some gold foiling using the stencils from this release. I splattered some gold metallic paints on the b background for some more added interest.
The colored flowers were placed in an angle to mimic the background using liquid adhesive. the sentiment is from the Rose Garden set which was stamped and embossed using gold on a white card stock.
For my second card I went a little dramatic, Who doesn't love some drama in life right?:) I embossed the floral background using the embossing folder from the release using Obsidian black ink. I colored the flowers and leaves using Altenew crisp pink ink and the gold pigment ink with sponge daubers.
I created a from using two rectangle dies and adhered it to the center of the embossed panel. The sentiment was stamped and embossed using white embossing powder on black card stock.
The embossed and colored panel was adhere on a top folding white note card. I really liked how this one turned out. Let me know what you think. I hope you liked these cards I created using the New Craft Your Life Project Kit Garden Rose and next up on the hop is the talented Rosie Neustaedter
