Copic on Designer Paper and Color Cardstock | SSS Limited Edition Valentines

Hi Friends,

I have two cards today for you today, showcasing copics on designer paper and colors cardstock. The stamps and products I am using are all from the new SSS Limited Edition set called Be My Valentine. This stamp set has a very vintage feel to it and so are the designer papers included in it. I have a weak spot for everything vintage, especially if it is floral. Collecting Vintage dinner ware, cups and saucers are something i live doing. Going to flea markets and antique shops and shows make me very happy. Opening this stamp kit was like going to a vintage flea market.

  • The first card is copic colors on designer paper. I used the same copic color inks for both my cards today. I started by stamping the roses and leaves from the Be My Valentine set with a SSS Intense Black Ink. In the video below, I show you how to color these roses and leaves.

  • Stamp and emboss the main sentiment with SSS Embossing Ink and SSS Fine Detail Gold embossing powder. Stamp the addition sentiment on to a white cardstock with Versafine Onyx Black ink, fussy cut the label sentiment and adhere it at the bottom of the embossed sentiment with foam adhesive.

  • Mount this floral panel on to a plaid designer paper from the Limited Edition Kit with liquid glue and adhere this to a side folding Neenah Solar White 110lbs notecard.

  • Add Gem stones to finish the front of the card. I have also done the inside of the card, which you can see being made in the video below.

  • The Second card features copic coloring on a colored cardstock. Start by stamping the image using moment Tuxedo ink in gray color. In the video below, i shoe you how to copic color heart rose image.

  • After the heart rose colored stamp the image ince again i=on top of it using Delacta Gold ink. Immediately go over the image with perfect Pearl Gold Powder, Th wet sticky ink of the Delicatea ink helps the Perfect Pearl to adhere to it. This also adds much more shine to the image, which makes it almost look like gold foiling.

  • Mask and stamp multiple times the rose Heart stamp all over, filling up the background.Continue to add the Perfect pearl after stamping the image with the Delecata ink.

  • Stamp the large sentiment using Versafine Onyx Black ink directly onto the stamped background. Stamp the additional sentiment on a white cardstock with black ink and adhere it nor the lag=rge sentiment using foam adhesive.

  • Adhere this colored background panel onto a designer paper cut at 51/2x41/4 and mount it on a top folding Neenah Solar White 110lbs notecard.

  • To finish the card, add some Pink Pretty Pink Posh Jewels to the finished front panel. Like the first card, I also did the inside of this card as well, which you can see being made in the video below.

Hope you enjoyed todays cards and I have inspired you enough to love vintage florals the way I do. I will see you next time, until then keep making handmade kindness and sharing them.
