Hello Friends,
Today is a big release day for the SSS Stamptember product release. This is their 10th anniversary for Stamptember products and is packed with amazing stamps and other products. i am creating a trifold cards using the Sending Sympathy stamp set. The stamps in this set are very dainty and elegant. I decided to make a trifold card to showcase as much of the stamps in one card.
I started off with a 12 7/8 x 5 1/2 inches bristol smooth white cardstock from Canson, scored at 4 1/4 from each ends. When you fold the card, brochure style you will have a 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 size card. If you don't have a large sheet as mine you can use a 12 x 5 1/4 score at 4 inches from each end and the finished card size will be 4 x 5 1/4.
I mounted all the leaf image stamps on acrylic blocks, stamped them using Hickory Smoke and Black Soot distress oxide inks. I stamped a few images full strength and a few were spritzed with water to give it a watercolor look. That is the reason why I used Bristol smooth paper. After all the stamping was done, I painted a few elements with Tattered Rose distress oxide ink to add some subtle colors. i also splattered some inks using the same three distress oxide inks. To add some elegance to the card I took a Deco Foil Adhesive pen to do some selective foiling to a few images and also to add some random foiled splatter.
For the sentiment I used an older set from SSS called Say It All Friend. I gold heat embossed on Vellum using Brutus Monroe Gilded Gold embossing powder. I also used some additional sentiments form both Say It All Friend and Sending Sympathy Stamp set with Hickory Smoke Distress oxide inks. I finished the card with some Pretty Pink Posh Crystal Gems.
