Surprise Slider Card | Rubbernecker Stamps and Dies

Hello Friends, I have another interactive card for you today. I think this is a new phase for me and so please bear with me until I phase out. in the mean time I hope you enjoy these interactive cards.

I am also in the midst of creating some fun kids cards to give away. My daughter who is applying for medical school will be dong some volunteering at a children's hospital this summer and she asked me if I could make her some cards that she could give to the children in the hospital. And I think interactive cards are a way to their hearts don't you think? I also have to be mindful of my time at this stage of my life where we are in the midst of moving from New York to Minneapolis so keeping it easy is the key. And trust me when I say easy this cards is really easy.

I am gong to keep the card making summery to a minimum, but don't worry my friends, I have created a video showing you step by step on how I made this card. I feel like a video explains the process so much easier than me trying to write .

The idea of this card is that the shark is hiding under the waves with his head and snorkel peeking out through the waves. And when you pull the pull tab the shark reveals himself with a big smile on his face. The sentiment is from The Sea Set stamp and it is just the right one for this.

This is the image of the card when the the tab is pulled and the shark comes out of the waker. How cute is that!!!!

Once you understand how to build this interactive element, there are endless possibilities. You can even change the shape from circle to any shape you like, it could be a bouquet of flowers sliding up or a cake etc.....

Please click on the image below for the video on how to create this interactive surprise slider card.

I am sure this card will bring a smile to a child's face, hope you give this interactive card a go and watch a smile appear !!! Please make sure to add your project to the Rubbernecker Facebook Fan Page as we love to see what you create. Have a wonderful weekend, keep crafting and sharing handmade love and kindness.
