It has been really long since I blogged. I have been so busy with our move from NY to MN it has eaten away most of my time. I have been slowly getting back to the crafting room to make cards.
Todays project feature's a simple card with a beautiful sentiment. This sentiment is a reminder that no matter how ugly or chaotic the things around us may be there is still something beautiful in this world. If we look around us there will always be people who are kind, who and thoughtful, whose smile makes your day brighter. There will always be flowers that are blooming, birds chirping, sun raising and setting, stars twinkling a baby cooing and hearing I love you through the mouth of a toddler. If you just take a little time and calm yourself there is good around you and you will notice it and say "I think to myself what a wonderful world"!!!
Moving on to the card and image it.
Stamp the large Floral Circle from Rubbernecker with a black ink onto a kraft notecard.
Color the image using prism color pencils. In order to make the color pop on a kraft notecard make sure you first color the image with a white pencil and then color over it with colored pencil .
Stamp and color the butterfly from the watercolor butterfly set from Rubbernecker using Prisma color pencils as well.
Heat emboss the butterfly using gold embossing powder and die cut the butterfly using the coordinating die.
stamp the sentiment on vellum using black ink and heat set it with clear embossing powder.
Die cut the sentiment using a circle die and adhere it to the center of the Floral Circle. I used vellum because I did not want to cover the image I colored.
Adhere the butterfly with foam tape in angle on one corner of the vellum circle.
Add a few gem stones and adhere this kraft panel on a top folding white note card.

Filigree and Leaves- Olive Green (PC911), Lime Green (PC1005), White (PC938)
Flowers- Violet Blue (PC933), Sunburst Yellow (PC917), White
Butterfly- Pumpkin Orange (PC1032) Sunburst Yellow (PC917), Violet Blue (PC933), White
