Altenew 7th Anniversary Blog Hop Day 3 + Giveaway (over $1,400 in Total Prizes)
Hello Friends, I am so excited to be joining the celebration blog hop at Altenew for their 7th Anniversary. I have been a huge fan of Altenew since their very first launch 7 years ago. I always get excited whenever they have something new, especially their floral illustrations. I have learnt a lot of my coloring techniques over the years by coloring different florals stamps by Altenew. I am so hired to be part of their guest design team and to be a of the Blog hop. This is Day three of the hop there are so many great designers on this blog as well as amazing giveaway. If you have been hopping along I am guessing you have come from the amazing Teresa Litchfield blog. I will have the hop list at he bottom.
For my first card I chose to go with a mini slim line card design. I stamped and colored the BAF Bellaroma Hybrid Roses with Altenew Artist Markers. I also added some dots in the flowers using the same marker colors I used for the flowers and a sakura gel roll glitter pen. The pictures makes the sakura pen dots look like white dots but they are glitter dots and they don't look so vibrant in real life.
I die cut the word celebrate and colored it pink ombre and adhered it at the bottom the colored panel. The additional sentiment is from the Bellaroma Hybrid Rose set.
I had a lot of fun making this second card. I used Altenew Artist makers and Altenew Metallic paints to create this Lotus card on Bristol Smooth card stock..
The stamp is called Inked Lotus which I stamped using the jet black ink. i colored the lotus and the background using Artist Markers. I went over certain places of the background in the same colors from the Metallic paint pallet.
To give the bright glow around the flower I added white colored pencil and pearlescent metallic paint. I really love how this turned out, by daughters said it looked very ethereal.
I hope you like the two cards I have created today to celebrate Altenew's 7th Anniversary. Next stop on the hop is Christine Pennington. Have a wonderful day and happy hoppng.
