This card was a fun one to make. I made this card for the Altenew Academy, Seasonal Scene Building class taught by the very talented Nichol Sphor. Nichol is know for creating amazing scene on her card and obviously this class made sense to be taught be her. I have always loved watching her create amazing scenes on her cards and the different techniques she uses to create them. For this card I was inspired by the lesson she taught on making windows to build a scene.
My scene is an Ice cream truck which is all set for the day to bring some smile on some kids faces and adults alike. I stared of by blending three shades of Distress Oxide Inks, Festive Berries, Squeezed Lemonade and Spiced Marmalade on a Bristol Smooth paper. This paper give a very even blend and it moved the ink easily. On another white cards stock I used the Warp Speed stencil and gold glitter embossing paste, and kept it aside to dry. While my panel was drying, I stamped the Ice Cream truck image from the Summer Swirls stamp set from Altenew on a 80lbs white card stock using MFT Hybrid Black Ink to use copic markers.
After I had colored the images I fussy cut the truck leaving a white border as I did not have the coordinating die set. By now the stenciled panel was all dry and I die cut a circle on the edge of the card stock. I adhered the ink blended panel behind this circle window and popped up the Ice-cream truck on the panel using foam tape. The sentiment was embossed with white embossing under on black and adhered under the truck to act as a road, The blended background is the rising sun and the stencil is the sun rays. I also added some sequins for some more shine and glitter. I popped this entire panel using fun foam onto a light blue notecard and my card was done.

I will start by telling you that your colour choices are just brilliant for this card! Perfectly summery and so ice cream-y if you know what I mean. Love that in blended circle behind the truck. The glittered stenciled background works so well with the look and also that black sentiment strips just brings the whole card together. You did such a fine job!
